[Fan Account] In the Presence of 9 Goddesses: My SMTOWN Experience – Part 1

I have seriously not woken up from the dream that was SMTOWN NYC. It is close to a week since the night of the concert, and I still can’t believe it even happened. I have been reading so many fanaccounts since then, keeping my memories alive. And mind you, I don’t just read the accounts of SONEs, but of all the fandoms who were in attendance. I have gained a deeper respect and appreciation for all the SM artists and fandoms after that night. I screamed like a banshee for every performer, whether I was able to sing along or not. And of course, not everything was sunshine and roses. There were things I didn’t like, and it’s only natural. I decided I needed to document the night myself, the good and the bad. And this will of course be a SONE’s perspective on the concert. Brace yourselves, this is going to be a long one.

A new teaser for the highly anticipated 3rd SNSD album was released just yesterday! This time around, the theme seems a little closer to Taeyeon’s concept photo… very regal and elegant. All 9 women look absolutely stunning with their grand ball gowns, beautifully done hair/makeup, and a few donning sparkling tiaras.

Seohyun was chosen along with Donghae of Super Junior as envoys for UNICEF. They are releasing a track that will be the theme song for the 2011 Asia Song Festival. ALL PROCEEDS from the song will go to  less fortunate children in impoverished countries. This just SCREAMS Seohyun!

Becoming a Seomate

Wow first post! I had been wanting to start a SoShi blog for quite some time now, but instead spent so much time procrastinating. I didn’t know where to start or what I wanted to cover. There are so many great blogs and websites out there that cover SNSD news, lyrics, even fashion. But after doing some quick google searches, I realized there was something missing. I decided to fill the niche desperately needed in the Soshi blog world. What is that you ask? Why…. a blog dedicated to our favorite maknae of course. So I figure the most appropriate way to begin is by telling you all about the journey that eventually brought me to this amazing individual. What a journey it’s been!
