And yes there’s my favorite Seohyun moment of this comeback so far. Oh who am I kidding when there’s the Check performance. But still… it has me itching for more candid moments like this one. Apparently the concept of the show is to give each of the girls individual screen time to do their own thing. What will Seohyun have in store for us? Something surprising I bet. Never fails to give us a fresh new side of herself lately, isn’t that right?

Aside from official preview videos, the PD also released a sweet letter he/she received from Seohyun after filming wrapped for The TTS.

Seohyun’s Musical is Finally Here!

Seohyun gave her first official performance as the female lead Heo Yeon Woo for The Moon that Embraces the Sun. While the international community of Seomates couldn’t all be there to support our princess, we were able to live vicariously though fansites and got a glimpse of our idol in her starring role.

The Moon That Embraces The Sun’ is my first musical.  I am preparing happily because I get to be in a really great production with amazing actors . . . I have always loved musicals.  That is why I’ve been wanting to be in a musical for a while; I am happy that my dream came true through ‘The Moon That Embraces The Sun.’

Ah! All we’ve ever wanted for Seohyun! A MUSICAL, one based on a historical drama at that. She’s getting great experience for both her acting and singing, and it’s a completely different environment than that of a TV drama, which let’s face it, can be kind of toxic. The musical schedule should be a little easier on her should the girls begin promotions soon, but it’ll still be tough to balance both, no doubt. Aww who am I kidding? I stan Wonder Woman. She can handle anything they throw her way 😉

So what’s my first impression of her performance? While I’m not an expert on musical acting, I’m impressed right off the bat because she surpassed my own standards. The exaggerated expressions and gestures work perfectly with a stage production, so no gripes with the acting. But her voice! It sounds so clear and beautiful! She’s definitely been putting in her time and it shows. I’m sure she’s learning even more about her vocal talents as she’s around a different set of talented people and perhaps this will translate into flawless SNSD lives? I can only hope! She never fails to surprise me with her dedication to improving her craft!

Oh yeaaaaah. This. The photo doesn’t do it justice. The kiss was short, sweet and adorable, mostly due to her character’s bashful reactions. And as always I thought SeoKyu’s voices blended together beautifully, but I’m also looking forward to her shows with the other male leads to see how well she acts without the comfort of SMTown oppa around. Not that I’m doubting her one bit, by the way 🙂

Well, Seomates, I have no complaints and am floating on Cloud 9 at the moment because all of our and Seohyun’s wishes have been coming true one by one. Who can doubt this woman’s determination at this point? Let’s stay supportive of our Queen and look forward to plenty more coming our way!

[SONE Plus] SNSD 2nd Japan Tour Thank You Message

Hello everyone in SONE JAPAN.

It’s Girls’ Generation~ ^^

To all the fans who came to the tour, thank you so much!

We were able to meet you all just about every week so it was a very happy three months.

The concert venues filled with pink penlights, handmade [cosplay] costumes and pink towels, everyone who wore the tour T-shirt and more, spending Sooyoung, Taeyeon, and Jessica’s birthdays with everyone… we will never forget any of it.

Also, after the concerts ended, the special time when we met those backstage became precious memories.  When we opened the door to the waiting room, seeing that everyone was so happy or crying made us feel that we’re loved so much that our hearts ached.  We are really~, really~ thankful for all the fans who support Girls’ Generation.

[NEWS] Seohyun and Taeyeon to Reprise Roles for Despicable Me 2

Seohyun and Taeyeon will be back for the sequel to Despicable Me! Seohyun will be voicing little sister, Edith and Taeyeon the older Margo.

In “Despicable Me 2″, Gru continues his dream in becoming the world’s greatest villain, yet is ironically recruited by the shadowy Anti-Villain League to combat the threat posed by the new character, Eduardo. Fans will be thrilled to see Girls’ Generation voice Gru’s cute kids as they team up with the lovable Minions once more.

I wasn’t able to catch the first film with Seohyun’s adorable little animated voice, but hopefully this one will be available for us Seomates to enjoy! I’m sure Seohyun had or will have tons of fun recording this voice! Just takes me back to her Keroro dubbing days hehe

[NEWS] SNSD 2011 Tour DVD Available for Pre-Order

The long awaited 2011 Tour DVD is now available for pre-order! The DVD includes a photobook and poster (folded or tubed). The girls performed songs from their 1st Japanese album and other well-known favorites.

Good news: The memorable solo performances were included in the DVD!

Bad news: Yoona’s and Seohyun’s were left out (most likely due to copyright issues)

Yes, Seomates. This is bad news for us. I happen to be a fan of all 9  and I am mourning the loss of both solos but ESPECIALLY Seohyun’s. However, I have already pre-ordered my copy. Even if you’re not a diehard fan of the group, I believe the DVD is still worth it. Their 1st Asia tour DVD was very high-quality and this one will be no different. But ultimately, it’s up to you to decide whether it’d still be worth it.

[NEWS] Leeteuk Shares a Text from Seohyun on Strong Heart

On last week’s Strong Heart episode, Super Junior’s Leeteuk revealed text replies from celebrity friends whom he had texted “I’ll miss you” before leaving for the army. This week he shared more of the replies, including one from Seohyun. Her reply?

I’m really thankful for oppa because you helped the SM family become more united. I think you’re a really great leader. Read a lot of books in the army. I’m going to miss you.
