Tribute to Seohyun’s Celebrity Fanboys

Seohyun of SNSD is appreciated by thousands of guys and gals around the world and that is a fact. But I wanted to put a spotlight on those special Seomates who have the chance to share their love for Seohyun in a very public manner. Yes, this one is for the celebrity fanboys.

1. Jinwoon of 2AM

Oh, Seomates. Here he is. Our celebrity representative. You saw this one coming from a mile away, didn’t you? Jung Jinwoon’s fanboy status became well-known among SONE and kpop fans in general after confessing that his computer password was “Seohyun”. He’s definitely one of us!

And I think no Seomate can forget the pained expressions on his face anytime Yonghwa would get near her during the beginning of YongSeo couple’s run on We Got Married. Some of us laughed, some of us could relate, but it was all just too sweet. I personally got schooled by Jinwoon on random Seobaby habits back when I was first becoming a fan. He was the go-to Seohyun expert on the show. And they remain friends to this day. Jinwoon was among the attendees of Seohyun’s 22nd birthday party and he was recently spotted flaunting a bottle of vitamins gifted by none other than Korea’s health advocate herself. You know it’s love!

2. Jun. K of 2PM

Seems like we have one fanboy for each of JYP’s famous boy groups. Jun K’s love for our Seobaby was revealed on the variety show “Idol Army”. During one segment, each member of 2PM had to declare his love to one of the SNSD members that were present. And although shows like these tend to be scripted, you can’t deny the sincerity in Jun. K’s voice and the cheesiness in his pick-up line. Please take note of the dazed look in his eyes after she winks at him and runs up to her unnies with excitement.

“Jigemeun, Seohyun Shi Dae”. The line that’s going down in history. Fanboys, take notes!

Jun. K was also featured on an episode of Win Win with his fellow 2PM members where he states that there’s a member in SNSD that makes his heart flutter. I could not find a credible source that says he said it was Seohyun, but he did mention that he gets teased by the boys after the Idol Army episode haha

**UPDATE ON JUN.K!**

I wasn’t the only one who thought Jun.K was referring to Seohyun on the episode of Win Win, and we’ll never know for sure. HOWEVER, we now know that years after the Idol Army episode aired, Seohyun is STILL his ideal type! He mentioned her on the first episode of the reality show Romantic & Idol. That’s loyalty! *pats Jun.K on the back* He’s really giving Jinwoon a run for his money!

 

3. Ki Sung Yueng – Player for Celtic FC in Scotland

It’s not only idols swooning for our maknae, but athletes as well.

First piece of evidence? The man tweeted his envy of the YongSeo couple.

But what really lands this guy in the Celebrity Fanboy Hall of Fame would be his declaration of love during an interview that even has the host roaring with laughter.

Later on in the clip at around 1:30, Ki Sung Yueng is given the choice between Liverpool and Seohyun. He refuses to answer this question. *High Five*

4. Leeteuk of Super Junior

It’s no secret that Super Junior’s leader has always had a crush on our maknae. During radio shows he has always complimented her and admitted that he felt nervous around her. He’s been outed as one of her number one fans at SM. His love for her began during her pre-debut days! “It’s impossible for her not to be pretty.” We can’t disagree with that, can we?

But his dreams finally came true when he was named as Seohyun’s #2 Ideal SM Oppa. However, he was not very happy at losing to Shim Jaewon for that number 1 spot.

Honorable mention to the poor fanboys that were relegated to spots number 3 and… no spot at all. TVXQ’s Shim Changmin and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk. Hyuk… maybe next time?

5. Others

The above 4 were notable examples of well-known fanboys of our girl. But the list is neverending of those who have named Seohyun as their favorite member or ideal type.

Kevin of U-kiss (at 0:56)

That nervous giggle, Kevin? Yeah… that’s us anytime we see this girl acting adorable. It’s ok, really.

Yoseob of Beast (at 1:51)

Yoseob thinks Seobaby is closest to his ideal type in terms of looks. Ours too!

Taehun of Z:EA (Link to Source Article)

Taehun chose Seohyun as his ideal type of girl for her pureness. He loves the fact that she only thinks about sweet potatoes. Taehun, there’s more that goes on in that little brain of hers, I’m sure of it!!

Minho of Shinee

Ahhh… the man who couldn’t make up his mind. It’s tough when choosing between SNSD’s Seohyun and Yuri… well between any SNSD members for that matter. After much distress, Minho went with Seohyun as the winner of his Ideal World Cup on Strong Heart. Most importantly, after given a very interesting prompt by host Kang Ho Dong.

After the concert and touring around 5 countries, you’ll take your weary body home where your lovely wife and baby live. When you come into your house, your baby smiles at you and says ‘Appa, welcome home!’ After that someone appears. Who would you want to see in that situation, Yuri or Seohyun?

And he chooses…. SEOHYUN! HAHAHA

Jay Park

What? Another fanboy that can’t make his mind up between Seohyun and Yuri? Well they aren’t referred to as the SNSD Twins for nothing, right? In a live chat with StarHub, Jay was asked by fans who his favorite member of SNSD was. He said that it would be one of the two. I know, Jay, it’s difficult. I feel your pain. 😥

And an oldie, but goodie, Baseball player Han Gi Gu.
